Business Improvement Districts (BID) are a partnership between a local authority and the local business community to develop projects and services that will benefit the trading environment within a defined commercial area.

Achieving BID status involves winning the active support of both the local business community and council members.  Detox Design ensured effective communication to these two key audiences by developing the design concept and providing on-going advice and guidance.

Members voted in favour of the BID and we are looking forward to formulating and implementing a 5-year marketing plan starting in May 2009.
